Always order a shrimp and steak burrito. Always fire! Thought one for my best friend who said 10/10!! lol bought my daughter one... she smacked the whole thing before we even got home! Bought my partner one over the years also 10/10! Always come here when in the area.

God has blessed me with many things in life. But the one that I'm most proud of - is being able to discern the better burrito restaurants from the BEST burrito restaurants. And with that said, this place is FIRE and this burrito was exactly what my native LA stomach was looking for. Get the regular burrito cus sour cream and guacamole is weird in a burrito. Get it with extra onions and cilantro and drench it with their red sauce. You can thank me now. - Drake.

The famous El Roy's always lives up to its reputation. The food is consistently delicious, and I have never been disappointed when eating at any of their locations! The service is always quick and efficient, and the lively ambiance adds to the experience. As a well-known establishment across Sonoma County, it's easy to see why it's a local favorite in every neighborhood that they've blessed with their presence.

Always a great eating experience! There are precious few taquerias that I would repeat, but we find ourselves returning to this one again and again. Try their pastor burrito!

First time to the brick and mortar El Roy's. We loved the truck in Santa Rosa and wanted to stop and try the spot in Petaluma on the way home from SF. I really love the food here. I went a little further out to try the Buche and cabeza here which were really good. So far everything I've tried here I really liked. I also had a tamarind agua Fresca which again I really liked. The thing that truly makes this a five star place though are the employees. Both here and the truck in Santa Rosa. Great people. It offends me and I'm sure others when people review a place calling it third world and insulting patrons. Freakin jerk. Should make you want to stop in. My belly's full. Nap time.

I came here with my family to a food truck in the fairgrounds parking lot. It's my first time being in this area and my sister took me here one of her favorite food trucks for tacos. We ordered in person and they accept both cash and card. The wait was around 10-15 minutes there was a lot of people in front of us on a Sunday afternoon. They have no tables so we ended up eating at a bench near by. I was able to get a lot of their menu since we came as a group. I personally was able to try their pastor , shrimp, fish, tripa and carne asada taco. I also got a horchata drink. The horchata drink was decent it was very refreshing with the tacos. I'll go by my order of tacos I like the most being the Al pastor the meat was super soft and the sauce goes perfectly with the crunchy taco shell.(got the crunchy shell) My second most favorite is the shrimp it was refreshing the juiciness of the shrimp helps the tortilla a lot. My first time trying tripa it had a unique taste probably an acquired taste but the meat was juicy and tender. The last two were really dry but it was a decent taco. Overall a very good food truck if you are craving tacos!

If I could eat here every day I would. This is my favorite Mexican restaurant in the North Bay. I usually go to their food truck down the street. I've been to their restaurant a couple times most recently on a rainy day. They're always busy but the wait is definitely worth it. The quality of their food is always consistent. I've had a lot of items on their menu including the shrimp tacos, burritos, and carne asada and shrimp fajitas. They make a spicy sauce for the shrimp which is delicious if you like some heat. I wish they offered black beans. Hopefully they will one day. Also, please open a location in Marin or bring a food truck to Novato. Petaluma isn't far but it would be great to have El Roy's in Marin.

The best Mexican food around! I got the nachos and they are so good and so big! The workers are always so nice and fast! Perfect place to grab dinner to go or stick around and eat here! However it does get busy so it might be a better idea to take the food to go so you don't have to worry about finding a place to sit!
